When Les and Kala Mason decided to form their business, Mason Marketing Co., in 1990, those Kansas wheat fields, combined with their mutual love of the baking arts, inspired them to create some of the most unique "designer" baking mixes available. </div> <bR> <div> Those mixes include some of the usual as well as unusual flavors. For instance, muffin mixes are available from Apple Cinnamon to Watermelon. Pancake mixes range from Blueberry to Pina Colada. Add in bread machine mixes, cookie mixes, quick bread mixes and more, and you have the "recipe" to "Make Home Baking Fun, Again".</div> <bR> <div> Over 19 years in the business, and the company's 100+ products can be found in hundreds of specialty stores, nationwide, particularly in resort and tourist destinations. </div> <bR> <div> In 2003, the company purchased an old building, in the shadows of the historic <FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#0000FF" FACE="Arial" ><A HREF="http://www.mcphersonoperahouse.org" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.mcphersonoperahouse.org"><U>McPherson Opera House</U></A></FONT>, and completed a rehabilitation of that building. It now houses the company's wholesale distribution operations, now operating as The Old Muffin Factory, and OldMuffinFactory.com. In the front of the building is The Cake Lady, famous for wedding cakes, cookies, desserts and other fine products from Kansas, including mixes from The Old Muffin Factory.</div> <bR> <div> We invite you to become a regular visitor of OldMuffinFactory.com and The Cake Lady.
